Send Diviniti Rakhi to USA & Canada

 

1. How do I send my document / parcel from Canada?
  • We can collect your courier package from your location. Alternatively, you can drop it off yourself at our office and save on shipping charges.
  • For cargo shipments (i.e., Air Freight), you have to drop them off at our office. This is to ensure that your cargo gets weighed, measured and documented in a satisfactory manner.
  • Please note: it is your responsibility to provide proper documents for your shipments.
  • The invoice value should preferably be in US $ or CAN $.

2. How do I book a shipment to bring my document / parcel to Canada?

  • Simply let us know by email the complete address (including telephone number) from which the package is to be picked up. We require physical address (including Postal Code); a Post Office Box number is not sufficient for this purpose.
  • Your email should also contain accurate description of contents (e.g., “Documents for immigration” or “Empty Plastic Tube” etc) as well as quantity, unit of measure, rate per unit, total amount (value) and purpose of shipment (e.g., “Trade Sample” or “Personal Gift” etc). The gross weight of the package and its 3 dimensions, i.e., Length, Width & Height (in centimeters) should also be mentioned, to enable us to estimate our charges.
  • You have to agree that you will pay the charges (including Customs Duty and all government levies, customs brokerage and other charges that may become payable) before delivery, so as to book the shipment.

3. How do I make a payment for the charges of my shipment?

  • We accept all major credit cards like VISA, Mastercard, Amex Card etc through PayPal payment gateway. If you are a PayPal member you may also pay through payPal directly.
  • Please note the term “charges” also includes any customs duty, taxes and/ or government levies as well as customs brokerage, airline charges etc that may be applicable. Usually these apply to Air Freight shipments or to courier packages above certain value. If you are shipping from Canada, any such applicable charges will be recovered from the receiver in the destination country. If the receiver has not paid the same, you will be responsible for paying it, together with the applicable administrative charges. We advise you to check with us in advance if customs duty etc charges are applicable in your case.
  • If you are dropping off your courier package / Air Freight shipment at our office, you can make payment of our charges by Credit Cards, cash or Certified Cheque at the time of handing over your package / shipment to us.
  • If we are picking up your courier package from your location, you should have paid us in advance using your credit Cards , PaypPal account. You may also enclose your cheque together with your package. Please do not hand over the cheque to the person collecting your package. Your package together with cheque should be put inside the envelope / plastic bag which the driver will bring. Please ensure that the envelope / plastic bag is securely closed. Never hand over cash to the driver. Also, never put any cash inside the envelope / plastic bag.
  • If you have arranged for a courier package or Air Freight cargo to be picked up from another country and to be brought to Canada (i.e., an import shipment):
    » If you are collecting the same from our office, then you can pay us in cash or by certified cheque at the time of collecting your package / cargo. We reserve the right to require an advance payment at the time of booking your shipment.
    » If you would like us to deliver the package / cargo to your location, then we should have received your payment in full before we can arrange to deliver your package / cargo to you. Once again, we reserve the right to require an advance payment at the time of booking your shipment.
    » Please note that upon getting our communication regarding arrival of your package / cargo, and if you have opted to collect the same from our office, you should do so within a maximum of 3 business days, failing which storage charges will be payable in addition to all the other charges.

4. What items can I ship?

  • Different countries have regulations regarding different items that are allowed to enter the country. Some items are not allowed to enter at all – for example, regulations in USA prohibit Cuban cigars from being brought in to USA. Before shipping, please confirm with us whether the item you wish to ship has any restrictions / regulations applicable in the country of origin and/or country of destination.
  • As a general guide, please refer to the following list of items which CAN NOT be shipped by courier mode:
    » Cash or cash equivalent
    » Jewelry
    » Precious stones
    » Diamonds
    » Dangerous and/ or hazardous goods
    » Live animals
    » Human remains (in any form)
    » Endangered / protected species of plants, animals, birds, aquatic life etc
    » Antiques
    » Any item constituting cultural heritage of a people
    » Any item that is prohibited by law / regulations

5. What is your shipping policy for DIVINITI items?

  • All valid orders received up to 12:00 noon are shipped on the same day, provided that day is a business day. Orders received after 12:00 noon are shipped on the next following business day. Orders received on non-working days are also shipped on the next following business day. We use “Next Business Day Delivery” service of various service providers such as FedEx etc.
  • After shipping your item, we will inform you by email the name of the service provider company as well as the tracking number.
  • When placing your order, please make sure that someone is available to receive your item at the address specified on your order. Please note that delivery can be made at any time during business hours. In case no one is present to receive the item when delivery is attempted, you will have to contact the service provider by telephone to reschedule delivery. In such cases, sometimes it may be convenient for you to collect the item from the local outlet of the service provider through whom the item was shipped.

6. The Diviniti item that I am interested in is not on your website. What should I do?

  • We will be able to procure any product of Diviniti. In many cases, we would need a very short time to fulfill your requirement. On rare occasions, we may require a longer time to get what you need. We assure you that we will do everything we can to get you the Diviniti product you want in the shortest possible time.

7. I would like to buy Diviniti items in large quantity. Is it possible to customize the items to show my name / company logo?

  • Yes, it is indeed possible to customize the items to show your name (or company name) and logo for an additional charge. Please note that this will require additional time before your order can be fulfilled.

8. I am interested in more items like Diviniti. Do you plan to introduce more items like it?

  • Yes, we are planning to bring more items relating to India’s cultural heritage, such as books, music etc in the near future. Moreover, at various times of the year, we will have special items on offer that will be relevant for that occasion, such as Diwali etc. Please visit our website regularly to see all these items on offer and also to check out the new product ranges launched.
